Description:
2 Vintage Advertising Ink Blotters with illustration by Lawson Wood – known for his funny animals particularly chimpanzees / monkeys (if you are a fan of his see my other listings for a number of blotters illustrated by him)
Advertising Allied Adjustment Bureau, Jack Bennett, Manager, Phone Cedar 9-6691 Flint Michigan, both have 3 months of the 1959 calendar on them.
One says Huff but no puff, pig operates bellows while chimpanzee/monkey tries to cook bananas, the other says Matchless service, baby chimp, starts fire on his dad’s head with magnifying glass on shaft of late coming through tattered umbrella.

Wear to corners, never used for ink.
