Drop boxes are used to securely hold poker chips or paper money under a casino table.
When a player cashes in money at the table the dealer will push the money into the drop box with an acrylic money plunger
Shield is mounted on the underside of the table. The box is then slid into the box and 1 lock is to secure to shield and the other is to secure the access door.
In casinos the boxes are exchanged for empty ones usually once per shift.
