of Valkyrie Publications will arrange your song as a lead sheet for voice and harp, piano, or guitar and send the arrangement to you in .pdf (Adobe Acrobat) format by email or on CD, as well as up to 6 copies printed on ivory paper as 4-page, 8 1/2" x 11" sheet music. The music will include words, melody for voice, and chord symbols which can be played on the harp, piano, guitar, or other instruments. It will have a cover page if space permits; for examples, see the sheet music in our eBay store.
The music will be entered into a computer using the
Finale
software program, and the finished sheet music will be as professional and easy to read as Shirley's books and music sold by
Valkyrie Publications
,
our eBay store,
, and others. You will be able to have any amount of beautiful sheet music printed from the hard copy or by sending the .pdf file to a print shop.
The copyright of the arrangement will belong to Valkyrie Publications unless a different agreement is made. We are very flexible about this; if we arrange a traditional song for a wedding, etc., we would like to publish it and share it with others, but if we arrange something you wrote, of course the copyright is yours.
Shirley will need a copy of the words and melody from you, unless she can find them on the internet. Please allow at least two weeks if you are ordering it between January 1 and March 15, or three weeks at other times of the year.
