Description

Genuine Slip Seal Brand Replacement Part #3 Torsion Spring. Uline Aluminum scissor valves also use these springs under the Uline part number H-185S.
Please note we are Slip Seal Distributors and have been for many years. All our Slip Seal parts are genuine and purchased directly from Slip Seal.
These springs replace broken torsion springs on all Slip Seal and Uline aluminum scissor valves. Fits both 5" and 6" valves.
If you place an order for 2 or more springs, we will also include a
free set
of the Slip Seal optional replacement Teflon washers (A .99 value) as a free bonus for every pair of springs that you order. These washers are used between the Aluminum valve pieces to reduce friction and help reduce the effort required to open and close the valve.
We also suggest to our customers that they tape the extra spring to one of the metal cross pieces at the top of the bag. That way it is close by when it is needed most.

You should then compare your valve and the spring location to the photo of the installed spring in our auction pictures. If you are still unsure, please contact us and include a picture of your valve in your email. We will then be able to advise you if this is the correct spring for your needs.
These are supposed to last over 100,000 cycles but they also seem to be about the only thing that ever fails on these dispensers. When they do fail,
we like to suggest that you order 2 of these so you will always have an extra one available.

Some of the Slip Seal valves were "Private Labeled" in years past and may not bear the actual "Slip Seal" name. If you have an
aluminum valve
chances are that it uses this replacement spring. If you have a plastic valve, this is not the spring that you need. A completely different spring is used for the plastic valves.
