The Tropical Products Company was formed in 1925 (offices in Philadelphia) to take over the interests of the International Lumber and Development Company. Tropical Products Company grew, manufactured, and imported products made from henequen hemp, chicle, logwood, mahogany, rubber, fustic, and cedar, in addition to fruit, vegetables and other products from the Mexico.
