Beautiful piece. Sorry about the glare. I'm not a bakelite expert. I'm guessing it is bakelite though. I have seen several others like this on ebay that say they are. The item is in nice shape, but the lid or cover shows some wear. I have the chips and cards that came inside this when purchased from an estate, but they are not bakelite and althought the cards seem to be old, the chips don't. If you would like them I can include them, but will need to charge more for shipping them with it. Please look at all
