Vintage Ceramic Rolling Pin w/Wood Handles (Red Cherries Over Blue Checkerboard)

Description

Overall length of this charming, vintage rolling pin, including the hand-turned wood handles is 18". The ceramic (stoneware?) body has an ivory glaze and measures 12" long x 3" diameter. The colorful pattern has bunches of cherries over a blue checkerboard background. Not sure of the age or manufacturer. I have seen similar items identified as being a product of "Counter Art"? I believe this probably dates to the 1980's? No chips or cracks, but it does have age-appropriate crazing beneath the shiny glaze. I noticed that only one of the ends has glaze the other does not.
