Vintage Rare1950’s Kleinart White Rockabilly Bra Top underarm Shields Size M

This is one of the most unusual vintage undergarments I have ever found. I actually think I would wear it as a top. In excellent condition, appears to have not been worn. Elastic under bust has plenty of stretch. Metal closure. Cap sleeves. Underarm guard sewn into garment is vinyl per tag. Marked size M. My mannequin is a small, just FYI. Here are measurements taken with garment flat.
Shoulder to shoulder 16”
Pit to pit 16.5”
Elastic band unstretched 12”
Shoulder to hem 12”
