Description

This is a large Onion Jar made by Sylvac in England. I don't know anything about this piece except I believe it was made in the 1950s and is stamped "Sylvac" England with "506" imprinted on the bottom.
There is a small chip on the inside inner rim as photographed in photos 11 and 12 above.
There is also a faint hairline on the lid which you can see in photo #4 above. It's near the opening where the spoon goes. It's faint, minor and shallow. At first I thought it was a crazing line, but it's probably a hairline.
I still say this piece is in overall very good, if not excellent, vintage condition. It's very clean and looks like it was never used. NO staining.
