VINTAGE VOGUE STRUNG GINNY DOLL 1951 SUNDAYS BEST! VERY RARE! Beautiful 1951 red headed strung Ginny. She has lots of red curls, gorgeous high cheek color, brown lashes and brows and those wonderful 1951 tricolor pupils. The 1951 dolls have some of the all time sweetest faces of the early ginnys.
Her early outfit is made of a patterned pink taffeta fabric. The cape, the bonnet, panties and the dress are created from the same fabric. The panties are a stronger pink because they are unfaded.  Vintage velvet blue flowers are attached to the top of the bonnet and on both sides of the front of the cape. She wears pink c/s shoes with white socks . The dress is untagged. You can find two photos on page 89 in The Collectors encyclopedia of Vogue Dolls. She is wearing a silver wrist tag that has the writing “A Vogue Doll.” Her stringing is good. She comes with her stand. Please email any questions.
